These Terms govern purchases and use of digital plugins licenses from Loop2Learning.
1. Description of the Service
LearnPlug Video Tracker is a Moodle activity plugin designed to:
- deliver video learning content
- track learner video engagement
- enforce anti-skip playback restrictions
- generate analytics on learner video progress
The Plugin integrates with Moodle LMS and supports video playback from:
- Moodle hosted files
- YouTube
- external video URLs
The Plugin is provided as licensed software and not sold as a transfer of ownership.
2. License Grant
Upon purchase or activation of a valid license, Loop2Learning grants the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Plugin.
The license is restricted according to the purchased plan:
Trial License
- Limited duration access
- Intended for evaluation purposes only
- No feature restrictions
Single Site Professional License
- Valid for one Moodle domain
- May not be used across multiple Moodle installations
Enterprise License
- Valid for the number of domains or installations specified in the purchase agreement
A license is considered active only while the subscription is valid.
3. License Restrictions
Customers may not:
- redistribute the Plugin
- resell the Plugin without written authorization
- provide the Plugin as part of a competing service
- remove license validation mechanisms
- reverse engineer the licensing system
- distribute modified versions publicly
4. Moodle Compatibility
The Plugin is designed for compatibility with:
- Moodle 4.5 and later
Loop2Learning does not guarantee compatibility with:
- customized Moodle forks
- heavily modified Moodle environments
- third-party plugins that alter Moodle video handling
5. Updates and Support
Active license holders receive:
- plugin updates
- compatibility updates for new Moodle versions
- bug fixes
- access to documentation
Support includes:
- installation assistance
- configuration help
- troubleshooting plugin behavior
Support does not include:
- Moodle server administration
- custom feature development
- third-party plugin conflicts
Support is provided through:
- issue tracking system
- support portal
Response times are not guaranteed unless specified in an Enterprise agreement.
6. Data and Privacy
LearnPlug Video Tracker processes video playback interaction data, including:
- play events
- pause events
- progress percentage
- completion status
All data is stored within the customer’s Moodle database.
Loop2Learning does not collect or store learner data externally unless the customer explicitly enables optional external services.
Customers are responsible for compliance with:
- GDPR
- institutional privacy policies
- applicable local regulations
7. Security
The Plugin follows Moodle development standards and security practices.
However, Loop2Learning does not guarantee that the Plugin will be:
- error-free
- uninterrupted
- immune from security vulnerabilities
Customers are responsible for:
- maintaining secure Moodle installations
- applying updates
- implementing proper access controls
8. Payment and Billing
Licenses are sold as annual subscriptions unless otherwise stated.
Failure to renew a license may result in:
- loss of access to updates
- loss of support services
- potential license validation warnings
The Plugin may continue functioning after expiration but updates and support will not be available.
All purchases are non-refundable unless required by law.
9. Intellectual Property
The Plugin, including its source code, design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Loop2Learning.
All rights not explicitly granted in these Terms are reserved.
The Plugin is protected by:
- copyright law
- software licensing law
- international intellectual property treaties
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loop2Learning shall not be liable for:
- data loss
- training interruptions
- institutional damages
- indirect or consequential damages
Total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid for the license in the preceding 12 months.
11. Warranty Disclaimer
The Plugin is provided “as is” and “as available”.
Loop2Learning makes no warranties regarding:
- uninterrupted operation
- error-free performance
- compatibility with all environments
12. Termination
LearnPlug may terminate a license if the Customer:
- violates these Terms
- distributes the Plugin illegally
- circumvents licensing systems
Upon termination, the Customer must cease using the Plugin.
13. Changes to the Terms
Loop2Learning may update these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms will be published on the official website.
Continued use of the Plugin constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of:
Portugal / European Union
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Portugal.
